I had a dream that during the winter I went to the woods with three other people. We visited the place that I have visited in my dreams once before with my family, but I didn't remember the direct terror since last time, not until we came near the hollow with the screaming deer fawns. I can't really tell who was with me because the people were changing at least one adult and two younger. The adult was my preschool class teacher "Frida" which I often considered as a bit rough. One of the younger person may have been a friend to me or my friend's cousin "Sara". The last person was probably younger and a boy under the responsibility of my preschool teacher. All these persons were not people that I had any close relationship to or that I like any special. From the hollow came later a female deer went up her head and half body with visible blood. There must have been some more terror in that hollow that was hurting these creatures. That was the moment we realized the danger and started to reverse. We looked for places to hide and didn't make it far enough until the two terrifying male wolf-looking-beings were present. We people actually did split up which I find weird writing about it. We tried to hide under the snow as cover, I hid under a big fir-tree. The terrifying being came close to me and said "Oh, you think you can hide from me?" but didn't really reach me until he got distracted by something else and ran away. As soon as it left I tried to escape and ran across muddy train tracks thinking that I need to get more fit, faster and better at fleeing. I came to another familiar forest road that I knew led home where my parents are currently living and where I lived most of my life, but conscious about the danger I walked between the dense trees. After some meters I heard some footsteps and I tried to not be noticed by freezing, instead it made me fall right towards the predator. The predator pulled me to the road and somehow I managed to give the predator my bottle of vodka and make the predator drunk really quick. The predator changed shape when drunk and was suddenly a blond teenage-looking girl that I didn't know. The predator laughed, I needed to support it along the way and I played along with the predator. We are friends and we have a good time while I was constantly on edge wondering when the drunkness would drop. When I led the way home one of the most terrifying moments occurred; I said "Yeah, we are having such a great time! We are like soulmates" and received the laughing answer "Hahaha, yeah we should almost get married!" and then took my forearms to make a move to hug me. I first easily tried to fight it but then was afraid of "waking up the sleeping bear" and I gave the hug. First I gave a slight hug, but then realized that I need a real hug because of my stressed heart. The predator held the hug for a longer time than I expected but then it let go, and we continued walking down the road just as before. I had recently in my real life joked with a friend that we should have a friend-marriage, which was a friend that I didn't actually feel that way about and left me with uncomfortable feelings. The predator was now a shifting girl-person, sometimes I could see a glimpse of some friends in it and sometimes not. Close to the village of my parents house we went over a patch of grass where there seemed to have been a party. The predator had now the face of my closest friend that hadn't been there for me when I had felt the worse. When we passed a fence I had a button on my upper arm that started to beep. It was a sensor that could tell that the terrifying being is near. I got visibly stressed and tried to turn it off while the predator asked about it and the question I turned off. I decided not to walk with the predator visibly from the windows of the house I was about to enter, so that nobody will see what kind of danger I had brought with me to the village. I told the predator (now her) that wasn't really my nearest friend anymore that we should part ways now and gave her a hug. The predator acted understanding and I quickly went into the house. In the house were not only my parents but other people probably from the community/village having a big meeting. I was asked typical questions like "How are you?" or "Is everything alright?". I gushed away the questions and went to a window to see if the predator had left WHICH SHE HADN'T. Then I saw an overweight self-secure girl outside walking and RECOGNIZING the girl-predator and telling her something unpleasant on the way to the house. I then went to open the door and saw them attacking each other. The other adults from the house went out to deal with the started fight. The two girls yelled at each other saying: "You don't know what I have went through!" answering "But what I went through was worse!". One of the adults that tried to mediate between them two was a redheaded man with a light blue jeans shirt speaking so wisely that it was clear that he was a psycholog or a psychotherapist. He saw the two girls' individual needs and talked about them that they both need some help and therapy and that their needs and suffering was understandable. I agreed and went into the house, my extreme stress came out and I repeatedly asked “Is there anything for me to eat?”.
This dream may represent your inner feelings of fear, danger, and being under attack. Visiting your significant dream place that reminds you of excitement, as well as terror, suggests that you are dealing with past traumas that you may have blocked out of your mind. These traumas may be resurfacing as you approach new challenges or situations in life. The presence of terrifying beings like the wolf suggests that you are facing a situation or challenge that seems insurmountable or dangerous. You try to hide or avoid it initially, but eventually, you confront it.
Your ability to transform the danger into a friend suggests that you are in control of your emotions and can find positive meaning even in the most challenging circumstances. The predator's changing form into a teenage girl and becoming your friend after drinking vodka may symbolize your ability to find common ground with people, even those who initially appear hostile or threatening. However, the predator's attempt to become closer to you through a hug may symbolize that you are not entirely comfortable with the idea of becoming close to someone or committing to a long-term relationship.
The final part of the dream, with the two girls fighting and the presence of a psychotherapist, may symbolize your need for support and guidance in processing past traumas. You may feel that you need to confront past issues and seek professional help to overcome them. The desire for food at the end could represent your need for comfort and nourishment, both physical and emotional. Overall, this dream suggests that you are facing significant challenges but also have the ability and resilience to overcome them with the right support and resources.
